Du surr\u00e9alisme il tire l&rsquo;irrationalit\u00e9 et l&rsquo;analyse du psychisme ; du Symbolisme la dimension onirique. L&rsquo;inspiration du mani\u00e9risme et des peintres flamands se manifeste clairement dans l&rsquo;utilisation de la couleur, de la lumi\u00e8re et de la minutie des d\u00e9tails. Les toiles repr\u00e9sentent l&rsquo;int\u00e9riorit\u00e9 et l&rsquo;inconscient du peintre : plong\u00e9es dans une atmosph\u00e8re tant\u00f4t contemplative, tant\u00f4t chaotique, des figures myst\u00e9rieuses hors du temps remplissent solennellement l&rsquo;espace, un \u00ab ailleurs \u00bb ind\u00e9fini, plein d&rsquo;\u00e9nigmes. Ce qui ne peut \u00eatre correctement d\u00e9fini ou compris avec des mots est habilement imprim\u00e9 sur la toile, qui devient le moyen indispensable pour raconter \u00e0 l&rsquo;observateur des visions autrement indescriptibles.
